Seeking an experienced Director of Home Technology for a prestigious high-net-worth family office located in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in modern home technology, including both hardware and software systems. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with a humble and approachable demeanor. As this is a high-touch role, prior experience working with high-net-worth clients and providing exceptional service for luxury properties and estates is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience managing the intricate operations of luxury estate technology. A deep understanding of Smart Home systems is critical, including Crestron, Lutron, Sonos, Access Networks, Ruckus, Ubiquity, security cameras, and access control systems. This is an in-person position based at the family office in Boston, with regular travel throughout New England and Southern Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available. The Director of Home Technology will report directly to the president of the family office.

The position oversees three small spa locations at resorts on the island of Kauai (each with 2-6 rooms per site), reporting up to the VP of operations. Duties include hiring and training, customer service, managing staff in 3 sites, administrative duties as well as collaborating with the executive team on marketing ideas and strategies. This position is hands-on, requiring excellent organizational and decision-making skills, and requires travel between locations. Spa experience is preferred but retail operations/management experience is also welcome. Salary is $75K base plus a generous monthly bonus of up to $3k per month based on achieving KPIs.
