Hutchinson Consulting Expands Its Consulting Offerings

Hutchinson Consulting, the industry’s leading executive recruiting, marketing, and consulting firm, has expanded its consulting division with several new talented team members who will expand the company’s offerings in spa and wellness consulting, leadership coaching, human resources, and social media strategy. 

New team members include:

Amanda Al-Masri, Spa and Wellness Consulting

Amanda is an internationally known wellness leader. Most recently, she was Equinox’s Vice President of Spa.   Prior to joining Equinox, Amanda headed Starwood Hotel & Resort’s Spa division as their Global Director of Spa Development & Operations, responsible for Starwood’s spa brands and a portfolio of more than 450 spas worldwide. At Hutchinson, Amanda will lead all concept design, spa/wellness programming, financial guidance, owner’s representation and more for their pre concept to post completion project consulting division.  Amanda earned a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH/MBA) from Cornell University.

Christopher B. Dennis, Executive Leadership Coaching

Christopher is an accomplished executive coach.  A former Senior Federal Executive, Christopher created and led high performing, successful teams. Today he works with clients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, demographics, genders, and ethnicities to develop performance improvement strategies. Christopher’s expertise in leadership, change management, and cultural sensitivity, provide him needed tools that allow for trust, vulnerability, and transparency. At Hutchinson, Christopher will lead all Executive Leadership Coaching initiatives.

Christopher earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Grambling State University and an Executive MBA from Washington University. He is a Healthcare Leadership Fellow, a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute leadership program, and holds various certificates in his disciplines.

Brenda Helps, Human Resources Consulting

Brenda Helps

Brenda has had a decades-long career as a senior-level human resources professional for some of the most well-recognized and prestigious brands within the hospitality industry.  She has the background, skills, and experience to support clients in optimizing the productivity of their workforce and to enable them to get the best from their leaders with improvement interventions. At Hutchinson, Brenda will work in collaboration with internal HR and leadership teams to develop and implement HR strategies that align workforce activities with business objectives. She can design customized assessments and programs that support short and long-term goals that reflect and strengthen company values. 

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts/Graphic Design from California State University at Fullerton, Brenda holds a Senior Professional of Human Resources certification from HRCI, as well as a CHRE designation from American Hotel & Lodging Institute. She is also a certified Instructional Designer through San Francisco State University extension. 

Samantha Reed, Social Media and Content Strategy

Samantha (Sam) is a digital and content strategist who has been covering the health, wellness, hospitality, and other industries since 2016. She has bylines in American SpaAmerican Salon, Travel Agent Central, Luxury Travel AdvisorInternational Meetings ReviewBroadwayWorldThe Odyssey, and more. Most recently she’s lent her social media management and email marketing skills to brands such as Immunocologie, Clique Beauty Boutique, Holistic Umbrella, Well Defined, Kool for Men, The SpoonFULL Society, and more.  At Hutchinson, Samantha will contribute to Social Media and Content Strategy as part of the Hutchinson Marketing division.  Samantha holds a BA in Journalism from Rider University.

Samantha will be working directly with partner Carol Stratford to help create social media campaigns and develop customer engagement strategies for various clients.
