Sous Chef, Greater Los Angeles

Continue to grow your culinary expertise at one of the most prestigious iconic properties on the West Coast within a world renowned restaurant. This Sous Chef role is responsible for standardizing, maintaining and continuously improving the quality of our products to exceed the expectations of our discerning guests. Responsibilities include hiring and training of staff, managing food and labor costs and assisting with weekly schedules. Coordinates and administers all food preparation, presentation and service procedures as directed by Executive Chef. Monitors associate performance and monitors staffing levels. We are looking for a leader that can encourage, motivate and be accessible to employees. The position reports to the Executive Sous Chef. Salary is $60K with an excellent benefit package.
