Human Resources Director, Northern California

We are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Director to lead and direct the HR and recruiting function for a highly-admired, premier SF Bay Area General Contractor specializing in general contracting and construction management services on the West Coast.  Oversee all HR functions including Recruitment and on-boarding, employee development, labor relations, compliance, Workers Comp, compensation and benefit administration. Must have 15+ years of hospitality HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a lead role working in a medium to large size company, preferably in construction or real estate.  Strongly prefer HR candidates with considerable JD Edwards software experience.  Current knowledge and experience with state and federal labor law required with knowledge of SF Bay Area ordinances and regulations a plus.  Familiarity with unions and collective bargaining preferably in the California building construction industry a plus. Conduct investigations on litigated and non-litigated complaints.  Assist with Immigration/Visa sponsorship’s. Oversees the upload and maintenance in JD Edwards  employee records and the like. Must demonstrate superior leadership skills and be a dynamic leader.  Reports directly to CEO. Annual base salary $155K-$165K and auto allowance.
