Director of Restaurants, Mid-Atlantic Coast

Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Director, the Director of Restaurants will oversee multiple restaurant operations at a beautiful property along the mid-Atlantic Coast.  As a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Luxury Legend collection, this position is responsible for multiple dining outlets including the 3-meal restaurant, in-room dining, casual pub and seasonal outdoor locations.  The ideal candidate will have a luxury hospitality background, strong wine and beverage knowledge, a strong financial acumen including in-depth knowledge of the budgeting and forecasting process and is experienced in training and mentoring staff. Responsibilities include supervision of the Food and Beverage staff, prepares weekly schedules, assists staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests, maintains safe working conditions and practices, conducts monthly inventories and develops and implements an Action Plan to meet the goals of the Food & Beverage division.   Candidates MUST have 3-5 years of experience in a resort hotel dining environment and a Bachelor’s Degree in restaurant management, or a related field. Salary is up to $75K plus benefits, weekends and holidays are required.
