Director of Operations, San Francisco Bay Area

We are seeking a highly talented Director of Operations for a premier, boutique restaurant group located in the SF Bay Area. Must have 7+ years of FOH restaurant leadership experience with proven operating results at free-standing full-service gourmet restaurants and bars. Must have 3+ years managing multiple restaurants and/or full-service F&B outlets, with some Michelin rated. Highly prefer San Francisco restaurant operating experience. Responsible for the financial and service arm of three full-service fine-dining restaurants, as well as multiple off-site private events. One restaurant is rated as one of the world’s finest restaurants. Direct and sustain success, growth and overall asset management of the company. Lead, direct, coach and counsel three restaurant GMs. Develop annual budgets in collaboration with restaurant GMs and DOF. Work closely with BOH Culinary Director. Assist with recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and development of FOH management team and hourly staff. Prepare action plans for each outlet, lead weekly operational performance and monthly P&L review meetings, and ensure that all action plans are implemented appropriately. Oversee implementation of capital expenditure program and other approved initiatives. Report directly to principals of restaurant group. Base salary to $145K plus bonus, free health insurance and relocation reimbursement.
